Cassandra Allegra Portia Calogera Filomena Pentaghast is Nevarran, pious, loyal to those she deems worthy, hot-tempered, and very good with a sword. She does her best to ignore the fact that as a Pentaghast she is (distantly) in line for the throne. Instead, she prefers to focus on her life as a Seeker of Truth and her service as the Right Hand of the Divine - which position she was granted under the sort of circumstances that are usually told of in bards' tales.

As one of the Divine's Hands, Cassandra is currently trying to stop the continuation of the war between mages and templars, with limited success. She is committed to the Andrastian Chantry and not particularly fond of mages, but she finds the war to be a useless waste of lives on all sides. Should the planned peace talks at the Conclave fail, she is prepared to do what must be done.
